Community & membership
Belonging is something
we care for together.
A living community grows through shared practice, honest relationships, and commitments kept with love.

Begin in relationship
Come with questions.
Bring your whole self.
Joining a spiritual community begins with learning who we are and discerning whether the relationship is right for you. An introductory conversation offers space to explore The Sanctuary Church’s values, scope, expectations, and current ways to participate.
Membership includes responsibility to the community: informed consent, confidentiality, respect for boundaries, honest communication, and care for the people and places connected with the Sanctuary.

Discern
Explore orientation, the membership covenant, and your own readiness. Name your boundaries and the support you need.
Practice
Participate at an appropriate pace in learning, reflection, integration, and the community’s current activities.
Serve
Offer your time and skills within clearly defined roles. Build trust through consistency, humility, and accountability.
Contributions & access
Support the care
that holds the work.
Member contributions support education, preparation, facilities, administration, integration, safeguarding, scholarship access, and reciprocity. They sustain the people and practical work behind the community.
Ask about the current contribution structure and available scholarship support for a specific offering. Financial capacity does not determine spiritual worth or change readiness and consent requirements.
Sacrament is not itemized or sold. Any tax treatment of a contribution should be confirmed for the specific contribution; no tax deduction is promised here.
